This job opportunity is for a seasonal role at Ralph Lauren’s hospitality division, specifically contributing to the success of Ralph Lauren Coffee from June to September. This position offers flexible employment with an hourly pay range of $15 to $21.13 depending on experience and geographic location, meeting all applicable legal wage requirements. The role is designed for individuals passionate about excellent customer service, quality beverage preparation, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of delivering the brand’s premium coffee experience by greeting customers warmly, preparing beverages to brand standards, and ensuring overall store cleanliness and operation meet Ralph Lauren’s high standards.
As a barista and customer service team member, you will be responsible for operating efficiently during busy periods, managing multiple tasks with composure, and setting a positive example for team members. Your contributions will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the overall hospitality experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
- NYC Food Handler's Certification
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- basic math skills
- ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- passion for coffee and hospitality
- outgoing and polished appearance

Job Duties
- Greets customers and takes orders
- processes cash and credit card transactions
- prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and customers' requests
- serves prepared foods and pastries
- delivers customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to guest needs with a sense of urgency
- demonstrates the ability to multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume
- maintains the appearance of the location ensuring products are stocked and areas cleaned
- keeps equipment operating by following all instructions
- maintains a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to sanitation regulations
- communicates effectively with store management about store, employee, and customer needs
- communicates customer feedback and recommends new menu items
- maintains a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- performs other duties as assigned by the manager
