AECOM is currently seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to join their team on a full-time onsite basis in Westchester County, New York. This role is integral to ensuring the implementation of AECOM's Construction Manager's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management Plan and related policies during construction activities. The Safety, Health & Environmental Manager will supervise onsite EHS staff, collaborate closely with client operations teams, and support safety training and hazard analysis initiatives. Key responsibilities include reviewing EHS plans and reports submitted by contractors, facilitating safety meetings, conducting site visits, investigating incidents, and overseeing emergency preparedness and compliance reporting. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), experience in construction, and knowledge of New York City environmental regulations.
