Job Description
Rosewood Washington DC is currently seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of managing the kitchen and kitchen personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/storage of all food items in accordance with standards. The role involves coordinating the purchase of all food, developing menus, and maintaining approved food and labor costs. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for daily operations in various dining areas within the establishment.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar capacity for a 4- or 5-star hotel or restaurant
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays
- Valid ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate
