The company embraces a culture where every associate feels welcomed, respected, and inspired to influence the future by taking bold actions today. New Balance is known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and community involvement, fostering a workplace where collaboration and creativity thrive.
The role of Store Manager at the new Pleasant Prairie outlets location represents a significant leadership opportunity within New Balance's retail operations. This position is pivotal for setting the strategic vision of the store, driving sales targets, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience based on the brand's core values of integrity, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. As the face of the store, the Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operation including staff management, visual merchandising, business rhythm execution, and community engagement through volunteer opportunities.
This is a full-time retail management position offering an annual salary ranging between $52,150 and $78,225, depending on experience and other factors. The Store Manager will be instrumental in building a high-performance team by hiring, coaching, and developing staff to meet and exceed company expectations. Collaboration with the District Manager is a key aspect of successfully analyzing market trends, implementing sales strategies, and resolving conflicts. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and upholding company policies relating to loss prevention and employee relations.
The Store Manager role requires hands-on leadership to ensure the store consistently delivers a 'Total Customer Satisfaction' culture, with all team members trained on the NB GUEST service model. A strong focus on visual merchandising will be essential to keep the store attractive and engaging to customers, alongside innovative initiatives to increase store traffic and financial performance. The chosen candidate will also play a critical role in positive community representation by coordinating brand-building volunteer activities.
New Balance not only supports its associates with competitive salaries but also offers substantial benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401K plan, life insurance, and extensive paid time off including holidays and parental leave. Beyond traditional benefits, New Balance invests in professional growth through development courses, tuition reimbursement, and mentorship programs. These benefits reflect the company’s philosophy of balancing professional excellence with personal well-being, making it an employer of choice in the retail sector.
