Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years full service restaurant management experience in the last three years
  • Some front of house experience required
  • ServSafe certified
  • Bilingual Spanish conversational
  • Knowledge of alcohol service laws and standards
  • Able to work weekends and holidays
  • Basic computer skills
  • Within commutable distance to Los Angeles CA 90010
  • Willing to relocate before starting work if necessary

Job Duties

  • Manage the floor during service including touching tables auditing checks overseeing staff and customer service
  • Manage both front of house and back of house employees including assisting in training support performance management and discipline
  • See the flow of the entire restaurant to create a cohesive team of excellent customer service in both the front and back of house
  • Support sales costs employee retention guest service and satisfaction food quality cleanliness and sanitation
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • Supervise standards for personnel performance and customer service as directed during assigned shifts communicate accordingly for follow up
  • Perform some food preparation or service tasks such as clearing tables and serving food and drinks when necessary
  • Accurately perform weekly inventory and ordering from vendors
