As a company deeply rooted in tradition and community, Cracker Barrel creates a welcoming environment where guests come to enjoy hearty meals and find unexpected treasures. With more than 70,000 team members across the nation, Cracker Barrel has established itself as a place where people not only eat but reconnect and feel right at home. The emphasis on community, authentic service, and quality has made Cracker Barrel a staple in the hospitality and dining industry. Beyond just a restaurant or retail store, it's a gathering place that has stood the test of time by consistently delivering excellent guest experiences that go beyond the plate.

The role of Restaurant Manager at Cracker Barrel is a leadership position that goes beyond managing daily operations. This is a full-time role with a pay range from $19.23 to $23.53 per hour, designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, people-centered environments. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house functions, ensuring that every guest and team member feels valued and engaged. Your leadership will directly impact how well the restaurant runs, from kitchen flow to the overall customer experience. The job demands balancing operational logistics with a people-first management style, encouraging your team through busy shifts while maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

Your primary mission will be to uphold Cracker Barrel's commitment to "Always Serving Up More Than a Meal," focusing on delivering country hospitality that stands out. You'll be coaching, mentoring, and developing your team to foster a culture of care and respect, ensuring that each staff member feels supported in their role. Additionally, managing inventory and operational metrics will be vital to maintaining efficiency and profitability. The position requires someone with 2-5 plus years of successful restaurant management experience who can dedicate about 50 hours a week, including holidays and weekends as needed. A valid driver's license is also necessary.

This role is ideal for a confident leader who embraces hospitality as a team effort and finds satisfaction in both people development and operational success. Cracker Barrel supports its managers with comprehensive training, tools, and a culture that prioritizes teamwork and mutual respect. By joining the Cracker Barrel team, you’re not just taking a job—you’re becoming part of a community that values every moment, big and small. Here, the work means more because it is done together — and every day is another chance to make someone’s day better.
