Job Description
This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated Dunkin' franchise, a renowned leader in the quick-service restaurant industry known for its coffee, baked goods, and fast, friendly service. Dunkin' has established itself as a trusted brand, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. As part of this franchise, the Restaurant Manager role offers an exciting leadership position in a vibrant and fast-paced restaurant environment where customer experience and team efficacy are paramount. The franchise owner operates the restaurant independently, meaning the manager will engage directly with a locally focused business setting, with the franchisee solely responsible for employment terms, including wage and benefit programs which can vary by location.
The Restaurant Manager at Dunkin' is central to ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of the restaurant in accordance with the brand's high standards. This full-time managerial position involves cultivating a skilled, motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving top-line sales targets. Managers play a pivotal role in promoting a positive team culture, encouraging open communication, and fostering continuous learning and development among staff. They are also responsible for enforcing quality standards related to food safety, presentation, and service, as well as ensuring compliance with all company and franchise policies.
In this role, the manager must be an adept leader and problem solver, capable of managing complex operational challenges from staffing and training to financial oversight and customer service enhancement. The manager not only sets the tone for the team environment but also acts as a role model, embodying the Dunkin' brand and its commitment to guest satisfaction. This includes hands-on involvement in daily restaurant functions and strategic planning to meet evolving business objectives.
Managing profitability is a key aspect of the position, requiring the manager to carefully balance labor and food costs while executing marketing initiatives that drive sales. The manager also ensures the safety and security of both team members and guests, maintaining a clean, well-maintained facility aligned with preventative maintenance and health regulations. The role requires completion of all necessary certifications, including ServSafe® food safety training, and strong adherence to operational guidelines.
Successful candidates will have previous restaurant or retail supervisory experience, a solid grasp of financial management, and excellent communication skills in English. The role demands a high school diploma or equivalent and requires candidates to be at least 18 years old where applicable. With a focus on guest-centric service and business results, the Restaurant Manager is instrumental in upholding Dunkin's reputation as a leader in the fast-food industry. If you are passionate about leading teams, driving operational excellence, and creating memorable guest experiences, this role offers a compelling opportunity to grow your career with a respected brand and supportive franchise owner.
