The company delivers a unique blend of casual yet refined dining with a focus on freshly made scratch-kitchen dishes designed to pair perfectly with their wine selections. Alongside the flagship Cooper's Hawk brand, they also operate Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, bringing authentic Roman flavors to their diverse clientele. Cooper's Hawk is committed to creating memorable moments for guests and members alike through exceptional service, quality products, and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
The Restaurant Manager role at Cooper's Hawk is a pivotal position responsible for managing the complexities of a high-volume, full-service establishment that includes a retail market, tasting room, and vibrant Wine Club program. This is not just a job about managing shifts but about inspiring and leading a team, fostering a culture of hospitality, and driving business growth while maintaining exceptional standards of service. The position offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $65,000 per year, with an additional 10% bonus potential, reflecting the importance of the role in achieving the company's objectives.

You will use various tools like point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling software, inventory management, and Microsoft Office to stay organized and oversee weekly inventory and financial performance at the department level. Leading operational excellence, you will hire, train, and schedule team members, enforce policies, and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
The role requires excellent communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration between kitchen and front-of-house teams, conduct meetings, coach staff, and partner with the General Manager to meet and exceed restaurant goals. Personalizing the guest experience by providing genuine, attentive service is a key part of the role, as is supporting the team with the necessary tools and training for success. Managers will also play an active role in growing the renowned Wine Club by educating guests and encouraging membership.
Cooper's Hawk values a strong work ethic and results-driven mindset, expecting the Restaurant Manager to be proactive in problem-solving, operational improvements, and celebrating successes with both guests and staff. There is an emphasis on career development and creating a respectful, inclusive work culture that represents Cooper's Hawk values throughout daily operations. This role requires the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, with significant time spent standing and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
With numerous employee benefits such as substantial dining and retail discounts, monthly complimentary wine tastings, comprehensive medical coverage including dental and vision, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, and mental health support, Cooper's Hawk demonstrates its commitment to the well-being and growth of its team members.
