Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of food and beverage service industry experience required
  • Ability to maintain California Food Handlers and ABC certification
  • Understanding of technology and care about accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of front of house operations
  • Ability to lead, train, and inspire
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of food and beverage service industry experience
  • Ability to maintain California Food Handlers and ABC certification
  • Strong knowledge of front of house operations
  • Ability to lead, train, and inspire a team
  • Thoughtful, intelligent, and articulate communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in technology such as Aloha, Paylocity, CTUIT, Excel, and Word

Job Duties

  • Anticipate the needs of the restaurant and act upon them while creating a positive and fun working environment
  • Maintain quality and consistency of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Continually strive to educate and develop staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
  • Manage all front of house staff and guests with a focus on logistics and productivity
  • Count and reconcile daily cash receipts, balance the safe, and prepare deposits
  • Reconcile 3rd party food delivery platforms
  • Assist in the creation, development, and execution of sales opportunities, staff incentives, and engaging experiences for guests
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed and the restaurant is left in a ready-to-open condition
  • Interview and recruit new employees
  • Assist with orientations and adhere to company training procedures
  • Fully understand and comply with all health, safety and labor regulations
  • Perform other delegated projects and tasks as needed
