Job Description
HOA Brands is a prominent leader in the casual dining restaurant industry, known widely for operating the iconic Hooters of America brand. With over 430 restaurants currently in operation and expansion plans underway, HOA Brands is dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience characterized by a fun, beach-themed atmosphere, quality food, and top-tier service. Hooters is famous for its inviting environment where guests enjoy ice-cold beer, hot wings, and the hospitality of the world-famous Hooters Girls. The company prides itself on fostering a culture that values passion for food, people, and fun, making it a vibrant workplace for those who share these values. The Corpus Christi Hooters location, opening in May 2024, is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the team and uphold the brand's standards of excellence.
The role of Restaurant General Manager at Hooters involves comprehensive leadership responsibilities, balancing operational management with team development and customer satisfaction. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple aspects of restaurant operations in a fast-paced, complex environment typical of full-service restaurants. As a General Manager, you will oversee recruitment, training, and retention of talent, ensuring that team members are motivated and equipped to deliver superior guest service. You will be responsible for driving guest satisfaction by maintaining exemplary food and beverage quality and managing the overall guest experience and atmosphere.
Financial acumen is also crucial in this role; the General Manager will handle budgeting, inventory control, and profit-and-loss management to meet and exceed performance goals. Upholding standards related to food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and facility cleanliness is another key area of responsibility. This ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains Hooters’ reputation as a safe and welcoming establishment. Furthermore, leadership at this level includes fostering a positive work environment through team building, staffing, scheduling, and vendor management. The General Manager will also support marketing initiatives at the local level to enhance community engagement and drive business growth.
Hooters offers competitive pay and exceptional benefits, along with a comprehensive paid training program designed to strengthen every member of the team — from frontline servers to corporate management. The training ensures the General Manager is equipped with the necessary skills to excel, understand performance evaluations, advance within the organization, and enjoy a fulfilling career. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced restaurant managers who thrive in an energetic, customer-focused environment and are eager to lead a team to success in a new and exciting market.
