Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail, organization, decision-making skills
  • Ability to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending & kneeling without restriction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude
  • Must be able to ability to lift or carry a minimum of 40 lbs. unassisted, in performance of specifically assigned tasks
  • Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
  • Innovative and change driven with a high sense of urgency
  • Proven problem solving skills with ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • Two (2) – Five (5) years restaurant general management experience, preferably in a steakhouse environment
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Experience in fast-paced, high volume atmosphere
  • Exceptional organizational & communication skills
  • Vendor management skills

Job Duties

  • Assists in the recruitment, selection, supervising, training & development for their outlet
  • Motivates, coaches employees and staff to meet performance property and restaurant goals
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment and abides by all local, state, and federal laws
  • Responsible for managing labor to meet or exceed payroll as a percentage of sales
  • Control food costs & portion dissemination, minimize waste, ensure high-end product appearance/delivery
  • Schedule all staff and approve schedules for outlet
  • Anticipate guest needs and restaurant “wants”
  • Emphasize and adhere to all laws regarding safe alcohol consumption and service
  • Provide excellent guest service in handling guest issues, food and beverage related events
  • Maintain knowledge of menus, wine lists, and liquor provided to guests
  • Attend department and operational meetings conducted by Dir. of Restaurant Operations
  • Maintain strong relationship between departments by sharing ideas, staff, and leadership
