We are currently looking for a meticulous and experienced Restaurant Controller to join the team. This full-time role is vital to our client’s financial operations and overall business health. The Restaurant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects within the restaurant group, ensuring precise financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities related to accounting, reporting, and financial management.

In this role, the Restaurant Controller will analyze the group’s financial performance in detail, managing the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensuring the integrity of month-end and year-end close processes. They will ensure that all financial practices comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as well as federal, state, and local regulations. The Controller will also oversee cash flow reporting on a weekly basis, maintain accounting controls, define policies and procedures, and coordinate external audits, including sales tax, personal property tax, and workers' compensation audits. Additionally, the position involves reviewing monthly reports related to third-party vendor partners to maintain accurate financial records.
