Job Requirements
- Minimum five years of culinary experience, including at least two years as a sous chef
- Creative problem-solver with passion and enthusiasm
- Proven organization, dependability, and self-motivation
- Team building and management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Skilled in kitchen equipment use
- Positive interaction with management, staff, and public
- Ability to produce high-quality work accurately and timely
- Knowledge of computer software
- Remodel and new build experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of on-the-job culinary experience
- At least two years in the capacity of a Sous Chef
- Creative problem solver with passion and enthusiasm
- Proven record of being organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Strong team builder with ability to manage and develop teams
- Skilled in use of kitchen equipment
- Ability to interact positively with management, staff, and public
- Ability to produce high volume of accurate, high-quality work timely
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs
- Experience with remodels and new builds is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure great guest service through consistent execution of all menus and recipes and accountability of the culinary team
- Assist outlet chefs in the training of all culinary and stewarding personnel
- Review, evaluate, and coach all outlet chefs
- Assist Executive Chef with controlling the day-to-day operation of all kitchens, ensuring high-quality product and minimal waste
- Assist with preparation and creation of all menus, including banquets and daily specials
- Assist with organization of food festivals and special culinary events
- Ensure proper preparation, presentation, and sanitation of all food items in all restaurants
