Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • validated knowledge of food preparation principles
  • knowledge of cooking methods and food safety regulations
  • must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrate interpersonal communication skills
  • meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking and standing

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role

Job Duties

  • Follow production instructions and standardized recipes to prepare diverse dishes
  • ready the workstation with required tools and ingredients
  • prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling food items
  • safely use utensils including knives
  • operate appliances like ovens, cookers, mixers
  • apply cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, steaming
  • structure, enhance and portion cuisine based on regulations
  • maintain food quality and safety through proper storage
  • maintain sanitary and germ-free work environment
