The firm caters to a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and emerging start-ups from both national and international markets. Known for delivering tailored and strategic legal support, Toeppich and Associates assists clients through complex acquisitions, regulatory compliance, title opinions, and major energy deals. The team comprises legal professionals with extensive industry experience, dedicated to protecting client assets and helping them achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
The role offered is a full-time, on-site Receptionist / Administrative Assistant position based in the heart of Downtown Houston. The work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, highlighting the company's commitment to maintaining a consistent and professional office environment. The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing incoming communications, supporting executives, and maintaining an organized and well-stocked office space. This role includes answering and directing calls with excellent phone etiquette, performing data entry, preparing essential documents, and managing correspondence and matter records vital to the firm's operations. Additionally, this position involves coordinating schedules for firm-wide events and interviews as well as assisting with other general office and clerical tasks.
Candidates should be prepared for occasional heavy lifting, such as restocking office supplies, which reflects the hands-on nature of this position. The salary for this role is competitive at $45,000 per year and includes valuable benefits such as paid downtown parking, PPO healthcare benefits (not HMO), and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match, underscoring the firm's commitment to employee well-being and financial security. This position calls for individuals interested in a long-term career with the firm who demonstrate strong communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and proficiency in office software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in legal or professional service environments is seen as a strong plus, as is familiarity with specialized software like OpenInvoice, although it is not required.
