Job Description

B&B Theatres is a reputable cinema chain dedicated to delivering magical, meaningful, and memorable entertainment experiences for guests across its various locations. Known for fostering a positive and inclusive environment, B&B Theatres emphasizes its core values of family, fun, innovation, joy, and integrity in every aspect of its operations. As a company, it strives to create not only exceptional movie-going experiences but also a fulfilling workplace for all employees, ranging from frontline staff to management and specialized teams. With theaters open 365 days a year, including holidays which are often the busiest times, flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the needs of the guests and maintain smooth operations.

The role of a professional bartender at B&B Theatres is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of creating unforgettable guest experiences. This position involves preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming. As a bartender, your interaction with guests plays a crucial role in establishing a friendly and professional atmosphere, delivering personalized drink recommendations, and handling orders accurately to meet customer expectations. This job demands excellent communication skills, a cheerful personality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting inherent to the dynamic entertainment industry.

In addition to beverage preparation and guest engagement, the bartender is responsible for managing transactions including cash and credit card payments, adhering strictly to legal and company policies like checking identification to verify legal drinking age, and maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards. Keeping the bar area tidy involves tasks such as removing trash, cleaning tables, washing glassware, and organizing equipment and supplies. Monitoring inventory levels and reporting discrepancies ensures that the bar operates smoothly without interruptions.

This position requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, which are peak times for the theatres. The candidate must possess or be willing to obtain R-Serving certification, authorizing them to responsibly pour, serve, and sell alcohol. Physical demands include standing for long periods, handling heavy supplies safely, and working in varying environmental conditions typical of busy theater settings. If you are energetic, personable, and passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences, this role offers a rewarding pathway to contribute to a vibrant entertainment venue that values teamwork, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
