The role of Porter is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall orderliness of our community's shared spaces. Working in this capacity, you will be responsible for cleaning and upkeeping a variety of common areas including bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lots, sidewalks, windows, carpets, floors, and any other public spaces. This cleaning and maintenance work is crucial in ensuring that our community remains a comfortable and attractive environment for residents, their families, guests, and staff. The Porter role demands a detail-oriented, reliable individual who can perform thorough cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor with everyone encountered.

You will be reporting to the Director of Housekeeping and assisting with daily cleaning assignments as well as special projects such as snow removal when necessary. Your efforts will directly impact the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents, reinforcing a safe and hospitable living space. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hospitality, healthcare, or related fields, with an understanding or willingness to learn the specific demands of working within a senior living facility. High school education or equivalent is required, alongside strong communication skills in English.
