We pride ourselves on creating well-maintained, welcoming environments for the residents and clients that we serve. Our expertise spans various aspects of property care, employing experienced and dedicated personnel to uphold our commitment to excellence. This opportunity is situated within a company that values professionalism, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement, establishing itself as a reputable leader in the property management industry.
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Porter to join our team. This full-time position involves engaging in cleaning and maintenance projects that require advanced training and proven skills. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining both the interior and exterior areas of a community or property, which may include the garage, outdoor common areas, and indoor facilities. The role demands flexibility to perform tasks indoors and outdoors, ensuring all assigned spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and operational functionality.
The ideal candidate will carry out a variety of cleaning duties such as power washing, sweeping, mopping, shampooing, polishing, dusting, trash disposal, window cleaning, and replacing light bulbs. Furthermore, the Porter must ensure that all cleaning supplies and solutions are maintained in compliance with OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals, reflecting our company’s commitment to safety. The Porter will also be responsible for timely delivery of packages to residents where applicable. This role requires adherence to security procedures and safety precautions at all times, promoting a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
In addition to daily cleaning and maintenance responsibilities, the Porter will report on the condition of buildings or properties to supervisors and may be involved in special projects as assigned. The position includes interaction with residents and responding to calls in line with our Global Service Standards. The candidate must demonstrate a high standard of personal and professional conduct and be willing to participate in meetings and work groups to stay informed about new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines affecting their work.
This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $18.50, coupled with an attractive benefits package. As a full-time non-exempt associate, the Porter will have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Occasional travel may be necessary for training or company events, providing opportunities for professional growth and engagement with our broader organizational community.
Joining our team as a Porter means becoming part of a dynamic company that values dedication, skill, and customer service. We emphasize safety, professionalism, and operational excellence in every task and encourage our employees to uphold these principles to contribute positively to our communities. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a stable and rewarding career path in property management and custodial services with a reputable employer who supports career development and employee wellbeing.
