Job Requirements

3+ years experience in all areas of cooking and food preparation
previous kitchen supervisory experience is desirable
valid food handler's card
completion of culinary apprenticeship training with ACF certification
excellent communication skills
ability to demonstrate leadership and composure in high-pressure situations

Job Duties

Take direction/follow instructions or recipes for preparation of various food items including salad, soups, dressings, fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, poultry
use a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment for food preparation
clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and storage areas
wash utensils and equipment as directed by kitchen supervisors
label food items accurately
maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry and prep areas
perform other duties as assigned
