Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in all areas of cooking and food preparation
  • previous kitchen supervisory experience is desirable
  • valid food handler's card
  • completion of culinary apprenticeship training with ACF certification
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to demonstrate leadership and composure in high-pressure situations

Job Duties

  • Take direction/follow instructions or recipes for preparation of various food items including salad, soups, dressings, fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, poultry
  • use a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment for food preparation
  • clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and storage areas
  • wash utensils and equipment as directed by kitchen supervisors
  • label food items accurately
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry and prep areas
  • perform other duties as assigned
