Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic culinary training or relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Availability to work full-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not required
  • Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef
  • Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food served
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients prior service
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
  • Participate in kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
