The Server/Bartender position at Highgate Hotels plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences within the food and beverage operations. This hourly role requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for hospitality excellence. The Server/Bartender is responsible for setting up the dining and bar areas, serving guests promptly and efficiently, and mixing drinks according to established standards. Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, complying with all state liquor laws, and safeguarding the inventory are essential duties. This position demands strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding the Highgate ethos of friendly, courteous, and attentive service. Availability includes working Monday through Wednesday evenings, with the understanding that flexible hours may sometimes be needed.

- prior hotel or related experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- set up the bar according to hotel standards and ensure timely guest service
- prepare beverages and cocktails following hotel mixing and presentation standards
- serve guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- break down bar after functions and store supplies according to hotel standards
- follow all state liquor laws
- maintain cleanliness in bar and service areas during operations
- ensure overall guest satisfaction
- respond appropriately to guest problems, complaints and accidents
- be familiar with hotel services, policies, safety rules, and fire emergency procedures
