The Sous Chef is also responsible for supervising, training, and coaching kitchen staff, including mentoring junior sous chefs, to uphold the restaurant's high standards. Additionally, the role involves assisting with light administrative duties such as ordering inventory, maintaining employee documentation, and coordinating repair and maintenance to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Operating under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will play a vital part in achieving financial goals by contributing to cost control, inventory management, and waste reduction. The successful candidate will be experienced in conducting regular food safety and sanitation inspections, workplace safety checks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.   • Six months experience as line cook in fast paced high volume environment or promotion from prep cook
