The role available is for a beverage server, a key position in ensuring a hospitable and positive experience for guests. The primary responsibility in this role is to serve guests in a polite and courteous manner, promoting the hotel’s excellent food and beverage offerings. The beverage server will be responsible for maintaining proper setup and stock of the bar daily, including handling all beer, wine, spirits, and related supplies. Essential duties include preparing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, mixing and presenting drinks following standard recipes with portion control, and managing sales through a point-of-sale system for accurate billing. This position also requires adherence to all state, federal, and corporate policies related to the responsible serving of alcoholic beverages. In addition to serving guests, the beverage server manages cash transactions, secures cash banks, locks up equipment, and participates actively in maintaining a safe and well-organized work environment. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, basic food and beverage knowledge, strong mathematical abilities, and physical dexterity. Effective communication and a commitment to teamwork and customer service are critical to delivering a seamless guest experience.
