The role of Warehouse Operations Manager at ThriftBooks is a compelling opportunity for experienced warehouse leaders who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings. This position operates on the second shift, Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience, including additional annual bonus incentives. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing a high-energy warehouse environment where you will oversee daily functions to ensure operational excellence. This involves driving continuous process improvements, adhering to safety standards, and motivating a large team to meet and exceed production goals. Your leadership will play a vital role in fostering a team-oriented environment based on respect and collaboration, with a focus on coaching and developing warehouse personnel.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring production metrics, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to improve overall productivity and efficiency. Job Requirements

  • legally authorized to work in the united states
  • willingness to authorize a pre-employment background check
  • physically able to work eight hours a day standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds
  • ability to keep body in constant motion throughout the shift

  • openness to receiving coaching and feedback

Job Qualifications

  • five years of supervisory warehouse experience leading a team of 100 plus employees
  • proven ability to lead, encourage, and coach employees to meet production goals
  • previous experience managing profit and loss responsibilities
  • experience implementing and enforcing safety protocols
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to maintain excellent attendance and reliability
  • positive and respectful attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • lean six sigma certification preferred
  • military or veteran status encouraged

Job Duties
