The role of Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, also referred to as In-Store Grocery Shopper, is a vital position within the e-commerce team responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders. The employee will initiate and complete the order selection efficiently, assemble orders accurately, process coupons and payments, and ensure a smooth and friendly delivery of orders to customers' vehicles at the store pick-up location. This role demands excellent oral and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members, including handling substitutions or exceptions in the order. The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk will also perform duties such as scanning and bagging items on the go, maintaining cleanliness and organization of staging areas, inspecting equipment, reporting discrepancies, and assisting in training new team members.
