Job Description

Fogo de Chão is a renowned Brazilian steakhouse chain that offers guests an authentic dining experience through its unique Churrasco preparation style. Established with a passion for fire-cooked meats and a commitment to exceptional service, Fogo de Chão has become a premier destination for those seeking a memorable culinary journey. The company is widely recognized for its dedication to quality, tradition, and innovation, ensuring every guest enjoys a dining experience that combines artistry, flavor, and warmth.

As a hospitality leader, Fogo de Chão focuses not only on delivering outstanding food but also on creating a vibrant community environment where team members feel valued and motivated. The company’s core mission is to ignite fire and joy, emphasizing care for employees, guests, and the wider community. This commitment extends into providing career growth opportunities, professional development, and an inclusive workplace culture for all team members.

Now hiring for the position of Server / Waiter / Waitress, Fogo de Chão offers candidates an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where customer satisfaction and superior service are paramount. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about food service, enjoy interacting with guests, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Servers at Fogo de Chão play a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by being knowledgeable about the menu, particularly the culinary art of Churrasco, and ensuring prompt and courteous service throughout the dining journey.

The Server position involves engaging with guests by answering questions about food preparation methods and explaining the continuous table-side serving concept, which is central to Fogo de Chão's dining philosophy. Servers are responsible for taking beverage and dessert orders, communicating special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros (the chefs who expertly carve meats at the table), and coordinating with cashiers for processing orders and payments. Team collaboration is highly encouraged, and servers often assist colleagues to ensure smooth service flow.

This role requires availability to work during weekends and holidays, highlighting the importance of flexibility in scheduling. Full-time hourly team members enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits starting after 60 days of employment. In addition, company-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage are provided where applicable. Fogo de Chão also offers an extensive voluntary benefits package that includes critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, permanent life insurance, and even pet insurance. Part-time team members receive a minimum essential coverage (MEC) health plan, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, along with options to enroll in voluntary benefits such as pet insurance, legal assistance, and ID protection.

Joining Fogo de Chão means becoming part of a team dedicated to delivering unparalleled service while supporting each member’s personal and professional growth. Whether someone is starting a career in hospitality or looking to advance in the field, the company provides a nurturing environment that values hard work and encourages ongoing learning. Aspiring servers will find a rewarding opportunity to develop interpersonal skills, gain industry knowledge, and contribute to crafting memorable guest experiences that celebrate the rich tradition of Brazilian Churrasco.
