Job Requirements
- experience in the service industry
- experience working as a bartender
- reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- 21+ years of age
- valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)
- available to work flexible hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- experience in the service industry (i.e. restaurant, bar, or hospitality)
- experience working as a bartender
- reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- 21+ years of age
- valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)
- working knowledge of standard drink recipes
- working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
- understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
- working knowledge of bar equipment
- excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- high attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to multitask and prioritize is essential
- strong ability to create a sophisticated, once in a lifetime immersive experience through storytelling, entertaining, and engaging customers while operating equipment
- additional languages beneficial
- knowledge and education in mixology an advantage
- excellent communication skills
- ability to learn quickly
- ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

Job Duties
- act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks
- prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for bar customers
- demonstrate a calm demeanor and thrive in ambiguous situations and during periods of high volume or unusual events
- deliver exceptional customer service by leading with customer connection and responding to customer needs
- serve as a mixology expert and share the story of mixology and the Reserve Café to provide exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ideal pairings
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to recipes
- peel, slice, and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
