We are currently hiring full time and part time Mixologists/Bartenders to join our Gainesville, FL team. This role is crucial in maintaining the exceptional guest experience for which we are known, by responsibly serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and care. As a Mixologist/Bartender at Ford's Garage, you will be the face of the bar area, delivering excellent customer service through expert beverage preparation and attentive service. You will receive drink orders from guests and servers, mix and serve drinks including wine, bottled and draft beers, while carefully adhering to legal and company policies regarding alcohol service. In addition to mixing drinks, you will be responsible for managing transactions through the POS system, conducting sales and inventory reporting, and keeping the bar stocked and organized. Performing opening, closing, and side work duties will also be part of your daily routine to ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
legal age to serve alcohol
ability to stand and work for extended periods
excellent interpersonal skills
reliable and punctual
ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail

Job Qualifications

prior experience as a bartender or mixologist preferred
ability to mix drinks accurately and efficiently
strong customer service and communication skills
knowledge of food and beverage safety and hygiene standards
familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

receive drink orders from guests or servers
mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wine, bottled beer, and draught beer
serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, and adhere to all laws and company alcohol service policies and procedures
enter drink and/or food orders into POS terminal and collect payment from guests
complete sales and inventory reports accurately
maintain bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies
clean and store bar equipment and bar stock
perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
