Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of high-volume culinary or hospitality experience
- Current food handler's card and other certification as required by law
- Knowledge of food and restaurant service skills including all phases of food production and service, storage and rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and time standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business

Job Duties
- Create a relaxed destination by promoting a learning and training environment for all kitchen members through hands-on approach focusing on proper cooking techniques, knife skills, and time management
- Ensure timely execution of Expo Station, opening and closing according to company guidelines and possess complete knowledge of all food menus, recipes including ingredients, preparation methods and presentation
- Facilitate training programs and provide constructive performance feedback to kitchen teammates while practicing open and authentic dialogue with the restaurant team
- Ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job by facilitating implementation of company training programs, monitoring team performance and enforcing safety and sanitation programs according to federal, state and local law
- Co-manage team meetings with the Front of the House and manage kitchen expenses to ensure budgetary compliance
- Support your crew ensuring teamwork and smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
