This role focuses on a critical function within ASML's supply chain operations — the position of Supply Chain Manager (SCM). The SCM plays a pivotal role in managing strategic suppliers with regard to supply chain management, capacity planning, and cycle time reduction. In today’s intricate multi-tier supply chains, ensuring full transparency and flexibility with suppliers is essential for maintaining a competitive edge. The SCM proactively addresses potential bottlenecks and supply risks before these can impact ASML’s factories and customers. Handling the added complexity of ASML’s systems, the SCM aims to reduce ownership costs for customers while ensuring smooth operations.

Key responsibilities of the SCM include actively working with strategic suppliers to continually reduce cycle times, secure capacity, increase flexibility, and develop overall supply chain performance. This role is crucial for driving supplier development to keep the ASML supply base aligned with ongoing technological advancements and evolving market conditions. The SCM leads initiatives such as cycle time reduction, capacity alignment, and risk monitoring in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders like account leads and supply quality engineers. Additionally, the SCM is responsible for implementing the ASML supply chain planning roadmap at suppliers, executing logistic audits, managing escalation procedures to resolve supply chain bottlenecks, and identifying internal process improvements.

The role demands a high level of expertise and experience in supply chain processes, particularly with complex manufacturing or high-tech industries. Candidates must demonstrate strong project management skills, deep knowledge of new product introduction processes, proven success in building strategic supplier relationships, and proficient communication skills tailored for senior management. Proficiency in SAP ERP software is considered an asset. The position is based on-site in Wilton, CT, requiring operational presence to drive teamwork and innovation, with the possibility of flexible workplace arrangements and up to 20% travel dependent on business needs.
