Job Description
Uline is a family-owned company and North America’s premier distributor specializing in shipping, industrial, and packaging materials. With a workforce of over 9,800 employees spread across 14 strategic locations, Uline has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and quality products to its customers. Known for its commitment to innovation and efficiency, Uline supports logistics operations with cutting-edge analytics to ensure orders are delivered promptly—often within a day. Operating as one of the largest freight shippers in North America, the company values reliability, accuracy, and a customer-first approach in its supply chain and distribution efforts. Uline's corporate headquarters are located at 12575 Uline Drive, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, where it fosters a vibrant and supportive work environment, emphasizing career growth and employee well-being.
The role of Logistics Coordinator at Uline is a critical position within the company’s logistics team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth processing and audit of transportation shipments, including domestic parcel, less than truckload (LTL), truckload, and import invoices. Your responsibility includes reviewing, auditing, and approving these invoices with accuracy and attention to detail. You will compare carrier invoices against Uline’s order information, contracts, and shipment documentation, identifying and clearly documenting any discrepancies or issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with transportation carriers is vital for streamlining services and resolving conflicts efficiently. Collaboration with various internal departments and external partners is required to ensure timely payments to carriers, contributing to the smooth operation of Uline's logistics network. Additionally, you will engage in analyses for special projects that support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
This full-time, on-site position requires a professional who is proficient with Microsoft Office tools and has experience in invoice auditing and LTL pricing knowledge, which is preferred. Uline offers a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance starting from day one, a 401(k) retirement plan with a 6% employer matching contribution, paid holidays, generous paid time off, and a Tuition Assistance Program supporting professional continuing education. Working at Uline means joining a company that values its employees and invests in their personal and career growth, while also providing perks like an on-site café, a first-class fitness center with complimentary personal trainers, and over four miles of scenic walking trails. Uline maintains a drug-free workplace policy and requires all new hires to pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening. As an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, Uline welcomes veterans and individuals with disabilities to apply and join its dynamic team.
