As a dynamic and growing multi-concept brand, JOEY Restaurants combines handcrafted, locally and globally inspired menus created by award-winning chefs with world-class hospitality in modern, warm, and lively environments. The company prides itself on its culture of People Development, offering a warm, inclusive, and creative work atmosphere committed to training, educating, and empowering its team members. JOEY values genuine warmth and care in every interaction, maintaining integrity and professionalism in all aspects of its operations. Growth and expansion are key elements of JOEY's strategy, aiming to continue its success through 2030 with a focus on hiring passionate, performance-driven, and team-oriented partners.
The Line Cook/Prep Cook role at JOEY Restaurants embodies the company’s commitment to excellence in culinary craftsmanship and guest service. The Line Cook position, earning $18.42 per hour plus tips, is responsible for preparing and delivering world-class culinary experiences through precise and consistent cooking methods, adherence to recipe specifications, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role requires mastering various cooking techniques such as grilling, roasting, sautéing, and frying, alongside impeccable knife skills and coordination with fellow kitchen stations to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Similarly, the Prep Cook role shares the same hourly wage and tip eligibility, focusing on the preparation of ingredients that enable the kitchen team to deliver signature culinary experiences. The Prep Cook efficiently follows guidelines to meet product quality and portion standards, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready, thus supporting the timely execution of menu items.
Both roles demand a passion for hospitality, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, and lift heavy items throughout shifts. Employees at JOEY are genuine, caring individuals who value honesty, integrity, and constructive feedback for continuous growth and performance excellence. They possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, promote healthy competition, and take pride in presenting a professional appearance.
Working at JOEY Restaurants means accessing various benefits including career development, education and growth opportunities, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, medical reimbursement options, employee assistance programs, and employee discounts on meals and beverages. Additional benefits include paid sick leave, referral bonuses, and participation in sales competitions and rewards. JOEY Restaurant Group is an equal employment opportunity employer committed to providing reasonable accommodations and considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal history in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. This role offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals eager to grow their skills and thrive in an enriching and supportive team environment where genuine warmth and care are always on the table.
