Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months to one year of kitchen experience preferred but not required
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry weights up to 25 lbs
- dependable and punctual
- good communication skills
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Six months to one year of kitchen experience is a plus but not required
- strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly
- comfortable communicating and interacting with teammates
- conversational English and Spanish is a plus
- dependable, punctual, and committed to supporting the team
- ability to stay organized, calm, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs and carry items at least 10 feet
- commitment to hospitality and working nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to Ggiata recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- execute line stations efficiently during service, maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency
- support daily prep tasks, including slicing, portioning, labeling, and stocking stations
- maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards across the kitchen and line stations
- follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
- communicate clearly with kitchen teammates and Front of House to support smooth service flow
- assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties as assigned
- take direction from Kitchen leadership and support the team during busy periods
- perform other duties as assigned
