The company prides itself on blending creativity with tradition to deliver unforgettable memories for its clients. With its expansion into the greater Austin area, Proof of the Pudding aims to bring the same dedication to quality and passion for hospitality that have defined its brand for many years. This growth reflects the company’s commitment to broadening its reach while maintaining its core values of excellence and customer satisfaction.
As part of this expansion, Proof of the Pudding is seeking Prep Cooks to join its team at the H-E-B Center Cedar Park, a premier multi-use entertainment facility located near Austin, Texas. The H-E-B Center is home to multiple sports teams including the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League, the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League, and the Austin Acoustic of the Legends Football League, hosting over 150 events per year ranging from sporting events to concerts and family shows. The position offered is seasonal and part-time, tailored to the dynamic schedule of athletic events hosted at the venue. They will support the kitchen by preparing ingredients, maintaining sanitation, following health and safety regulations, and working efficiently under the tempo of live events. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork, as cooks will work with various stations and assist other kitchen areas as needed. Competitive pay ranging from $18 to $20 per hour is offered, along with benefits such as a daily meal per shift, opportunities for advancement, on-the-job training applicable industry-wide, and a flexible work schedule (excluding home baseball game days). Working in one of Cedar Park’s most iconic venues also provides a unique and scenic work environment. The company values inclusivity and diversity, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds without discrimination. Ultimately, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts and hospitality who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and are eager to contribute to the success of high-profile events.
