Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Culinary degree or relevant experience preferred
  • Open availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must pass mandatory drug test and criminal background check
  • Active California Food Handlers Certificate
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
  • Capability to perform repetitive hand movements throughout shift
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity, or wetness
  • Must perform all duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to pass mandatory drug test and criminal background check

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present food according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation, and cooking
  • Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
  • Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and grains including proper storage
  • Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
  • Work flexibly and take direction
  • Collaborate as a team player in a small, confined space
