Job Requirements

  • High level of mobility and flexibility

Job Qualifications

  • Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Prior experience in a cooking or food preparation role is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Report to work well groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and practice good personal hygiene
  • Use, maintain, and clean all kitchen line equipment, preparation, and storage areas
  • Stock and rotate products on cooking line
  • Have knowledge of cooking stations, menu items, and preparation procedures to ensure correct portioning, quality, cooking time, and performance standards
  • Cook and prepare menu items according to guest requests within company standards and follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Monitor and oversee food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce risk factors causing food borne illness
  • Anticipate, identify, and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
  • Communicate with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies, equipment, and safety problems
