Job Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the US
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have two years prep or cook experience
  • Have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Possess basic computational ability
  • Able to taste food and beverage offerings to know flavor profile, learn, understand, sell and support preparation of items necessary for role
  • Able to memorize and replicate food production procedures
  • Able to read prep and service recipes

Job Duties

  • Understand and adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures and promote a safe work place
  • Communicate with Chef, Managers and other team members to learn daily features, events, and important shift information
  • Set up station with food products, utensils, and equipment to ensure readiness for production
  • Cut, slice, unwrap, and prepare raw ingredients such as fresh produce and meat cuts for use on the line and in recipes
  • Mix and assemble recipe ingredients using proper portioning techniques and recipe procedures to create prepared food products
  • Assist Chef in performing final quality station check of all products before putting into rotation
  • Read order tickets or listen for dish calls to determine items that need to be prepared
  • Prepare food items according to recipe instructions, portioning methods, and cooking standards to fulfill guests' orders
  • Maintain station and cooking area cleanliness before, during, and after shifts to the highest cleanliness and health standards
  • Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces using proper cleaning solutions to ensure sanitation
  • Assist other team members as needed
