Job Description

The kitchen staff play a crucial role in the smooth operation of a kitchen. They work under the supervision of chefs and kitchen managers to ensure that food is prepared, cooked, and presented properly. Kitchen staff members are responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanliness. This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not always required
  • knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team, follow instructions, and collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • kitchen work can be physically demanding, requiring standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in hot and humid conditions
  • strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation, plating, and presentation
