The role of Kitchen Prep at Fogo de Chao is essential in supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional quality and presentation. This position involves preparing and presenting all salad bar items, side dishes, and desserts according to established recipes in an efficient manner. The Kitchen Prep team member plays a critical role in maintaining high standards by ensuring all fresh produce and inventory items meet quality expectations. Additionally, they are responsible for the proper management of inventory, including monitoring storage areas and assisting management with tracking expiration dates to minimize waste and maintain food safety standards. Cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas also fall under their duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Those hired will complete designated opening and closing shift duties as assigned by management, contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Job Duties
- Provide support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner
- Ensure the quality of all inventory and fresh produce meets the highest standards
- Manage inventory levels including storage areas properly
- Assist management with tracking expiration dates on all products
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas
- Complete beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management
