Job Duties

  • Support Head Trainer to ensure training materials are consistently and effectively used
  • Coach, train and develop Back of House team in all work areas
  • Ensure new team members attend orientation and provide follow-up performance training
  • Deliver profitability by managing food costs and labor productivity within guidelines
  • Conduct weekly inventories with pricing validation and implement action plans
  • Maintain accurate records including payroll, personnel files and performance reviews
  • Develop and maintain schedules based on sales forecasts for Back of House team
  • Promote Hopdoddy culture and support marketing programs and company initiatives
  • Ensure food is prepared to company standards and all food safety procedures are followed
  • Manage proper staffing and operations in the back of house
  • Provide warm hospitality to guests and proactively handle complaints
  • Motivate and develop team members through coaching and effective communication
  • Model personal excellence, communicate effectively, and complete multiple tasks efficiently
  • Conduct walkthroughs to assess restaurant conditions and performance
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance and sanitation practices are completed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations
