The role of Restaurant General Manager at KBP Foods’ KFC locations represents a critical leadership position with substantial responsibilities impacting the restaurant’s success. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually, with additional participation in a bonus program based on restaurant performance. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, from driving profitability through managing financial reports, cash controls, and labor management to recruiting, training, and developing team members including Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers. The position requires strong leadership skills to coach employees toward operational excellence and ensure an outstanding guest experience consistently.

Job Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility (quick service experience preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment

Job Duties

  • Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures, monitoring inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking action as needed
  • Recruit, interview and hire Team Members, Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers
  • Coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success
  • Conduct inventory counts every other week
  • Maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product
