Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in professional kitchen, preferably in a resort setting
- Diploma from a certified culinary academy preferred but not required
- Must obtain and maintain a Food Manager Certification
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining food quality and safety
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in basic and advanced cooking techniques
- Willingness to adhere to Westgate Resorts' smoke and tobacco-free workplace policy
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations across various restaurant outlets
- Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation in accordance with health and safety standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold best practices and standards
- Assist in inventory management, food rotation, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Collaborate with chefs and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
- Monitor and maintain food safety guidelines, including temperature controls and sanitation
- Step in as needed to lead and supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef
