This hotel, newly transitioned from The W New Orleans, is a soft-branded Renaissance property that perfectly blends modern luxury with the distinctive, spirited essence of New Orleans—where history, music, and cuisine converge. Hotel de la Poste stands as a beacon for travelers seeking an authentic yet upscale experience, surrounded by historic architecture, jazz-filled streets, and world-class dining. The current opening is for a Culinary Manager position responsible for managing kitchen staff and overseeing the daily operations of food production for the hotel's restaurant(s) and room service. The Culinary Manager will also assist the Executive Chef with menu creations and production adjustments. Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years of related experience in culinary management
  • Advanced knowledge of food production and kitchen management
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Physical ability to perform demanding duties including lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and mobility
  • Excellent comprehension and literacy skills
  • Ability to work inside kitchen environments with temperature extremes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
