JeffTemps - EVS Associate (Fulltime, Evenings)

JeffTemps, an internal temporary staffing service of Jefferson Health, is seeking dedicated and experienced Environmental Services (EVS) Associates to join the Environmental Services team at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. This Environmental Services Associate role is a vital part of maintaining a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment that supports patient care, staff efficiency, and visitor comfort. The position is based at 5501 Old York Road in Philadelphia and typically operates during evening shifts from 4 pm to 12:30 am. EVS Associates are tasked with upholding rigorous cleanliness and infection control standards by performing comprehensive cleaning duties within assigned hospital areas. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to proper disposal of biohazardous and environmentally sensitive materials, controlling odors, preventing cross contamination, and maintaining aseptic conditions essential to patient safety and hospital hygiene.

The EVS Associates also contribute to a professional hospital appearance by maintaining equipment and supply areas, assisting with furniture and equipment moves, recycling efforts, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment. Interaction with patients, visitors, and colleagues is conducted respectfully and professionally, reflecting Jefferson's core values and dedication to providing an inviting healthcare environment.
