The role of Coordinator Marketing In House at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is designed for highly motivated individuals who thrive in a dynamic sales and customer service environment. This position plays a critical role in scheduling and managing sales presentations, ensuring a superior level of customer service is consistently delivered to exceed budgeted sales and production goals. Coordinators are responsible for verifying that all customers attending presentations meet eligibility requirements and exhibit genuine interest in learning about the company’s products and services. Successful candidates will employ persuasive sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining and enhancing guest loyalty.

A typical day in this role includes welcoming and greeting owners and guests, anticipating and addressing their needs promptly and professionally. The Coordinator Marketing In House is expected to interact courteously with colleagues and guests, contribute actively to team objectives, and adhere strictly to company policies and safety procedures. The role demands flexibility in working hours, including shifts during holidays and weekends, and entails maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times.

Candidates with prior sales or customer service experience, particularly in concierge or sales roles, are preferred, as is the ability and willingness to engage with guests both in person and by phone. The position may require candidates to undergo background and drug screenings to comply with local and state regulations. Physically, the job requires the ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, stoop, and remain standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Availability to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to undergo background and drug screening as required
  • Physical ability to reach overhead and below knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
