Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a general manager in 4-star hotel or resort with residences
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong financial management skills including budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Willingness to relocate to Southeast Texas area if not local

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of 4-star hotel or resort with residences experience as general manager
  • Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
  • Thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • Need to be able to analyze a P&L to ensure cost controls
  • Ability to analyze guest service reports and recognize market trends
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop team members
  • Identify all property needs and execute a plan to address those needs
  • Prepare operational budgets, facilitating financial planning and expense control
  • Forecast revenue based on market segments and execute a plan to exceed revenue goals
  • Create a memorable guest experience
  • Oversee and manage overall operations of the hotel, including but not limited to front office, sales, food & beverage, housekeeping, and engineering
