Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a general manager in 4-star hotel or resort with residences
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong financial management skills including budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Willingness to relocate to Southeast Texas area if not local
Job Qualifications
- 4+ years of 4-star hotel or resort with residences experience as general manager
- Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
- Thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- Need to be able to analyze a P&L to ensure cost controls
- Ability to analyze guest service reports and recognize market trends
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication
Job Duties
- Lead and develop team members
- Identify all property needs and execute a plan to address those needs
- Prepare operational budgets, facilitating financial planning and expense control
- Forecast revenue based on market segments and execute a plan to exceed revenue goals
- Create a memorable guest experience
- Oversee and manage overall operations of the hotel, including but not limited to front office, sales, food & beverage, housekeeping, and engineering
