- prior General Manager experience
- proven financial performance management
- knowledge of luxury hotel operations
- experience with multi-revenue-stream management
- proficiency with AI and technology tools

Job Qualifications
- 10+ years senior leadership experience in luxury hotels or resorts
- prior General Manager experience required
- Forbes-rated property experience strongly preferred
- proven success leading complex multi-revenue-stream properties
- deep understanding of luxury service culture
- demonstrated expertise in food and beverage operations
- experience with private membership clubs or wellness resorts desirable
- strong financial acumen with experience managing $50M+ operations
- demonstrated comfort with AI tools and data platforms
- Bachelor’s degree required
- advanced degree preferred
Job Duties
- Define and execute the long-term business strategy for a $72M+ operation
- position the hotel as the leading luxury destination in Austin
- serve as the primary representative to ownership, community leaders, and partners
- oversee all hotel operations including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa & Wellness, Membership, and Events
- maintain Forbes Four-Star and Michelin Key standards
- deliver on revenue, GOP, and EBITDA targets
- lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
- optimize yield management across multiple revenue streams
- identify strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities
- uphold Proper's modern luxury aesthetic and experiential standards
- oversee award-winning $32M+ F&B operation
- champion culinary and beverage excellence
- develop wellness and membership revenue strategies
- build and cultivate exclusive membership community
- recruit, develop, and retain executive leadership team
- foster culture of service excellence, creativity, accountability, and inclusion
- lead AI adoption and integrate technology across operations
