Job Description

North Italia is a renowned Italian restaurant chain known for its dedication to crafting exceptional, handmade Italian dishes from scratch daily. From their signature Prosciutto pizza to the house specialty Bolognese, North Italia takes great pride in delivering culinary experiences that highlight authentic Italian flavors with an innovative twist. The restaurant offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that combines casual dining with a sophisticated touch, making it a favorite destination for guests seeking genuine Italian cuisine in a comfortable yet elegant setting. With a focus on both food quality and guest satisfaction, North Italia stands out as a place where culinary tradition meets a modern dining experience.

North Italia is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Hosts and Hostesses to join their team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment. Hosts and Hostesses at North Italia are the first point of contact for guests and play a crucial role in setting the tone for each dining experience. The position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay ranging from $15.15 to $18.00 per hour, and opportunities for career growth within the company. In addition, team members benefit from healthcare options, paid time off policies, employee meal discounts, and special perks such as up to 50 percent next day pay eligibility for qualifying shifts.

The hosting role involves greeting guests with a warm welcome, managing seating arrangements to maximize customer flow while honoring guest preferences, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the dining areas. Hosts and Hostesses are also responsible for managing waitlists when necessary, communicating estimated wait times, and providing menus to guests upon seating. Building rapport with regular patrons by remembering their names and preferences is encouraged to foster a personalized guest experience. Staff in this role are supported through hospitality training and are encouraged to grow their skills as part of a welcoming and inclusive work environment.

North Italia prides itself on being more than just a restaurant—it is a community of dedicated servers, managers, chefs, and hosts who work collaboratively to deliver memorable dining experiences. Joining this team means becoming part of a company that values diversity, inclusivity, and professional development. The restaurant operates as an equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements. North Italia’s commitment to a respectful and supportive workplace makes it an ideal employer for those seeking a career in hospitality with a focus on teamwork, quality, and guest satisfaction.
