Job Requirements
- Full-time employment
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 11 pm
- Willingness to work 40 to 50 hours per week
- Break time of one hour
- Prior experience in upscale sushi restaurants
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to culinary excellence and customer service
Job Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Minimum five years experience as a sushi chef at Omakase sushi establishments
- Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary traditions
- Experienced in menu development and kitchen management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Hospitality-minded approach
Job Duties
- Manage sushi kitchen operations
- Prepare high-quality Omakase sushi dishes
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Supervise and train junior sushi chefs
- Design seasonal sushi menus
- Maintain inventory and order supplies
- Communicate effectively in English and Japanese
