Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours during a shift
  • Stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Understanding of Snooze’s personnel policies and ability to enforce them
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
  • Capacity to conduct interviews, hiring, training, and coaching
  • Willingness to collaborate closely with front of house and management
  • Ability to handle and reconcile cash properly

Job Qualifications

  • Three plus years of operations and leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to operate cash registers and Point of Sale systems
  • Excellent basic math skills
  • Strong communication skills in the predominant language of the trading area
  • Experience in staff training and team leadership
  • Capability to manage food costs and inventory control

Job Duties

  • Lead all kitchen functions involving food purchasing, storage and inventory
  • Ensure adherence to Snooze quality, methods, safety and sanitation standards
  • Train staff in cooking methods, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and cleanliness
  • Schedule kitchen staff efficiently to maintain production and labor costs
  • Collaborate with Front of House to ensure seamless service and address guest feedback
  • Assist with opening and closing duties in both kitchen and front of house
  • Monitor food preparation to maintain consistency, safety, and quality standards
